We wish to ensure the safety of our guests, visitors, clientele, staff and vendors at all times. Midtown Event Centre adheres to the following:

  •  High contact areas will be sanitized frequently.
  • We respectfully request anyone exhibiting an COVID symptoms not attend at the Centre.
  • Touchless hand sanitizer stations are available within the Centre.

Can I come view the Centre?

Of course! We look forward to meeting you. Appointments for viewing can be scheduled by emailing Cindy Peters, Venue Manager at [email protected]


How do I hold a date?

To hold a date you must contact Cindy Peters, Venue Manager. If the date is available, we will offer a 7-day soft hold while details are discussed. Should another client wish to book on the held date, you will be offered a deadline to confirm your booking and ensure the necessary deposit has been paid. If the date you are interested in is held by another client, we will provide you notice when the other client’s deadline is over.


What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, EFT, and cash.


Can I access my space prior to my event?

The Boardroom and The Meeting Room will be available for set up 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time wherever possible. We endeavour to keep every client on schedule but meetings and presentations sometimes run a little long so 30 minutes may not always be possible. The Main Event, Executive Lounge, and bookings with the whole site will have accessed clearly defined in the Venue Agreement once your needs have been determined.


Can I use my own caterer, event planner and decor rentals?

Yes, of course. We encourage you to consider our Service Partners as we know the exceptional service they provide; however, we are easily able to accommodate other vendors.


Are there any decorating restrictions? 

Like all event venues, you may only affix items to the walls with painter’s tape or command strips. We request no glitter, confetti, or rice be used within the venue.


Is the Centre wheelchair accessible?

Yes. There is also a wheelchair-accessible washroom.


Is smoking permitted?

Smoking is not permitted within the Centre. Designated areas for smoking are outlined at Midtown.


Are pets permitted? 

Service animals are always permitted. Pets are able to be a part of an event provided they are leashed and cleaned up after.


Is Event Insurance required?

Event insurance is required. Please discuss insurance requirements when booking the Venue. Our service partner, Mac Insurance & Registry, has a streamlined application for your convenience or can easily answer any questions you may have.
